Due to the high need for free ultrasounds in Binghamton, we require clients to validate their need with a positive pregnancy test first.

We offer free pregnancy tests and can sometimes have your ultrasound referral scheduled on the same day, depending on doctor availability.

An ultrasound provides key information before scheduling an abortion:

• Pregnancy progress: It confirms if your pregnancy is developing and helps determine which abortion methods may be available based on how far along you are and your health history.
• Pregnancy viability: An ultrasound is the only way to confirm if your pregnancy is viable. Studies show that up to 1 in 4 pregnancies don't progress, and some miscarriages are only detected during an ultrasound. If you've miscarried, follow-up care from a doctor will be necessary.

As a community-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we don't profit from your ultrasound or any decision you make about your pregnancy. Our services are completely free, so nothing will be billed to your insurance or appear on your account.
